I'm glad to hear your doing better, I hope it continues for you. Is there any where you can go outside that is secluded to relieve the gas if you don't feel comfortable in the restroom? Holding in gas is very painful and although there are times that we have to do it, if you hold it too long you run the risk of it happening without you helping it just by the building of the pressure. I know at your age, I'm sure you worry about people coming into the restroom. You may want to try beano or gas x to help give you relief.

You won't smell like a fart if you let one out in the bathroom. The bathroom may smell like one, but if no one's in there, who cares? Lol. And, actually, if you sit on the toilet, fart, then flush, you'll help dissapate even that smell. If your gas is particularly stinky, you might want to avoid things that make it stink more--garlic being a big one. Also, you might try some yogurt or probiotics as sometimes really stinky gas is a sign of bad bacteria in your guts and the probiotics will help balance that back out again.

I sometimes have that problem - gas that seems to be "stuck" in your bowel. I know it's probably not possible at school, but lying on your right side really really really helps me - i do that at night when my gas tends to be worse. What may help, that might be more likely to do at school, is walking around, or moving - that helps the gas be able to pass through more quickly. Maybe when you go to the bathroom, you could pace back and forth a few times and see if that helps?

You can also try the wearable hot back wraps, just pull it around to your front. A lot of times the heat helps ease cramps and gas pains. Also try chewable gas relief pills; you can pop them in any time and don't even need water.

Would what make you have gas or not? The chewable pills? They will help dissolve the gas. Think about when you pour a soda and all the foam rises to the top, if you stick your finger in it then the foam starts to dissipate rapidly. Essentially that's was anti-gas pills and chewables do... They help put out the gas.
Hope you are feeling better tonight.
