after I stopped taking zelnorm I am malnourished and have missed 3 periods. My doctors don't seem to care. There seems to be nothing they can do. I even went to the Mayo clinic. I am scared. Does anyone else have this?

Hi hungry, I'm sorry this Zelnorm thing has been so bad for you. Have you brought this up to your Gyn also? I think that since its affecting your reproductive health that its worth mentioning to him/her. I would keep pushing your docs like you have been. No one should have to go through so much with your docs shrugging their shoulders, they need to find a way to help you and look outside the box.

Hi hungry,
A agree with Des, you should speak to your OB/GYN about this.
Also, are you taking any vitamins to help with your malnourishment? How about vitamin packed shakes (like Ensure). This could also be a good discussion to have with your doc.
