What sort of eating disorder did you (or do you) have? Abuse laxatives? Binge eat? Anorexic? What good foods and bad foods for you to eat might be related to how you got IBS-C, and what disorder you have might shape what's suggested for you. For instance, many people with diarrhea and easily upset stomach are counseled to eat small, bland meals, but I wouldn't suggest that to a recovering anorexic, who might be tempted to go too far with that.

HI - When i had my gastric emptying scan, the MD had stated that many times, people with eating disorders (he did not specify which ones), do have a slowing of motility in the gut.  Now, that being said, I'm not sure how this would affect constipation. But I wish you luck and please make sure you see an MD.  Take care.
