if you are interested in joining a young person's social/support group here in LA, let me know, or contact:

jrivera@ccfa.org or look at all the other stuff they have going here is CA (north, south, or central)

http://www.ccfa.org/chapters/losangeles/

and also anyone can join the online version of this group:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CCFA20-30/

Jessica works at CCFA and is super-friendly...the cool thing about the group, it's not really there for a bunch of people to get together and whine, as much as it is for us to get together and do fun stuff.....

last week i got invited and went to the Magic Castle in Hollywood by one of the members and we had a great time.....

any locals should join, i am thinking of having a get together at my place soon.....

if you are not from LA: also check here for a local chapter near you.....

Hi Glad Bag!!

Is this for people with IBS as well? Not for me but for the others who happen to be in that area.

I used to live in LA county (miss it very much)... sigh!!

That's a good idea. What better way to socialize than to go to a place you know will have a bathroom (no one in the group would have picked it if not!), and to be around people who won't think your frequent trips to it odd, and who won't make jokes or call attention to them either. That could ease a lot of the stress and pressure and make everyone have fewer bowel problems when they go out.
