My brother and I both suffer from Lactose Intolerance to a sever degree, we both cannot have foods containing anything derived from egg, nor can we have onions or mustard or anything spicy. Recently, my father has started showing the same symptoms, and he's probably had many of them for a long time. Anyways, when i eat any of these foods, i get horrible horrible stomach cramps, like budges in my chest moving from my heart down into my stomach area, and the only thing that releaves it is gas pills and passing gas. The lactose intolerance mainly causes my family to rush to the rest room, but small amounts of milk will reek havoc on our stomach, and egg will cause us enormous amounts of pain in our GI tract sometimes lasting an entire day. My brother and I are very sensitive as well to caffeine as it causes us to get tingly sensations in our chests and heart palpitations. So on a good day, i avoid pretty much all of those foods, or foods containing those ingredients and I'm good to go, when i plan what I'm going to eat or where I'm going to eat and what is in the food i avoid much of this pain. My suggestion to many of you would be to see a certified dietitian and an allergist to rule out any potential issues as well as an gastro-enterologist. Diet can do wonders or reek havoc on your body ad it would be a good idea many of you keep diaries on what and how much you've eaten of what ever it was you consumed. So much of what you eat can cause you major GI problems. My family pretty much has what most people and professionals would consider IBS.
