I had started to write a long explanation of my symptoms and a story of my IBS trials and tribulations, but why bore you with that?
I got rid of my symptoms in this simple way...
Kefir, kefir, kefir. (Best)
Dannon Activia, Dannon Activia, Dannon Activia. (Better)
Yogurt smoothie, yogurt smoothie, yogurt smoothie. (Good)
Active cultures (also known as probiotics) are what I was missing. Now, I am symptom free. Spread the word.
At this point, all I have to do is drink one smoothie a day. If I miss it, I get symptoms. It's that simple. I look forward to total IBS independence some day, but if it never comes, a yogurt per day isn't too difficult to handle.
