I'm not sure why your doc is giving you so much Librax knowing that you have severe constipation. I think it may be time to find a new doc IMO. Librax is like any antispasmodic in that the purpose of it is to relax the contractions of the colon. Contractions are your body's natural way of moving the waste along, with so much Librax you are basically stopping your colon in its tracks which will cause your stool from moving along. By taking laxatives, you are reversing the effects which is not getting you anywhere. Please talk to your doc about
