Hi,

I was wondering whether anyone had an opinion on fluroide and how it could maybe affect or trigger IBS symptoms. I had no idea there was a link until I read some articles about fluroide poisoning and the effect it can have on the GI tract.

Thanks,

Hi Damo123,

I drink bottled water with no flouride and never get flouride treatments at the dentist.  I suppose too much flouride could affect some people's guts but as with everything else, what's a trigger for one isn't necessarily a trigger for another.

On a side note; my husband works in the dental field and says dentists have seen a massive rise in decaying teeth since they took flouride out of the tap water.
Take care, Softy

I didn't know they took it out. I know they were talking about it but I didn't realize it was not allowed anymore.
