Does gas have weight?

Anyone know?  When you are bloated, filled with trapped gas that won't pass or gas that continues to "rebuild" even after it's passed, does it show up on the scale?

It shouldn't.  Gas itself doesn't weigh anything.  If you're constipated and have built-up fecal matter in the colon, however, you'd notice increased weight.  Just like when you have diarrhea, you tend to lose weight.

I wish it did and I could lose 20#'s in one morning. I have never noticed any less weight after getting rid of gas.
