Hey everyone, how are all of you doing? I'm fine I guess. I went to my GI appointment today to find out the results of my labs, not the news that I was expecting. The labs came negative for any parasites or bacteria, that is good news, but that does not help me with why I go through what I go through. My doctor told me that gas is a normal thing that everyone gets and has,and the average person passes gas 13 to 14 times a day,and that I guess is something that I'm going to have to deal and cope with and not let it bother me so much.I know in the past before everything started in 03 I did not have or passed so much gas. I just need to get over it and not let my having gas bother me so much.So thank you all for your prayers and concerns I greatly appreciated them. I will to continue and fight to live with ibs and not let it get to me or break me down. take care everyone-love jtaurus

I didn't get to read your other posts---but, is there some kind of allergy you have to some veggies/food/lactose? Iknow my mother gets REALLY bad gas from vegetables that have seeds in them--she won't eat cucumbers, beans, etc....unless she takes out the seeds! Also, brocolli, cauliflower---it seems like a lot of veggies makes her gassy---and then, she takes Beano---and it helps!

You probably went over this---but, I was just thinking....

I guess the good thing is---you DON'T have parasites?! ;)

I do take beano, and I stay away from milk and dairy all together cause I'm lactose intolerant.I do not have any allergies to any foods like wheat. But I just got to stay strong and keep working with my GI doctor to try to eliminate my problems.Thank you for your advice.
