Hello IBS'ers... I am from the Ulcerative Colitis board, but I saw this program on the Discovery Health Channel "Diagnosis Unknown" about a woman who had uncontrollable diah and epsecially after eating. She had so many tests done and after about 7 months I think, they found out that she had a thing called Habba Syndrome. It has to do with your Gallbladder not working properly and after she started the treatment for it, 2 days later, all her symptoms were gone. She had become basically homebound, or when she would go out, she had to do Bathroom Mapping, and was very afraid to basically do anything.

You can go to http:www.habbasyndrome.com  for more information and the story on the Dr. that discovered it.

Anyhow, I thought I'd just share this with you all and maybe it will help someone :)

I had to have my gall bladder taken out because it got quite bad, but I'm on Welchol and it controls my bile diarrhea; I can almost eat normally.
