First of all I want to apologize about being AWOL for awhile.  I have neglected my Moderator responsibilities.

I have been dealing with a raging infection.  Its effected my kidneys, mouth and body.  Everything has been infected and antibotics are being stubborn in working.  I had dental work done and part of my jaw bone is showing and is also infected!  Sometimes I think I'm falling apart.

I have been also dealing with my husband.  In one hour we have an Oncology appointment.  His blood work from his regular doctor showed signs of cancer or a rare liver disease.  So all I can say is I'm worried to death about him.

I think I'm back up to prowling the boards again.  I feel so terrible leaving everything to my co-moderator  yeah   Hopefully she will forgive me.

I just wonder how much one person can handle before their rubber band snaps! smhair   Life can throw you some major curve balls!

Oh Laurie! Honey, I am so sorry :(! I wil deffianly be saying many prayers for you. I have been worried an hope things will start to get better for you! Do they know what is causing the infections?

What did the oncologist say about the cancer? Any treatment options yet or is a biopsy in order first to find out exactly what you and your husband are having to deal with? Please keep us posted and take as much time as you need!!!

Well the appointment lasted a long long time. They took 12 vials of blood. In the end the doctor wants to find out why he has such a severe Vit D defiency and why his Ferrion and RBC's are so high. He is now set up for 3 more procedures. One that measures how much blood is in his body with an ARG? I have no clue what that one is. Then he goes in for a CT scan of his internal organs. So no Dx yet just alot more appointments.

The doctor found out that he serves in Desert Storm and he shook my husbands hand and thanked him for his serves. Thanks from his family also. I thought my husband would of started to tear up.

I will keep everyone updated.

Amy I have grew up with infections. Its genetic my father also has this problem. When one infection strikes it hits all around. So we just go through all the antiobotics to see which one I will respond too.
