I had my nerve block yesterday. It only took an hour to sort things out because some idiot forgot to fax the permission from the high risk OB's office and none of the darned doctors there would answer the page. But in a few days my hip/leg should feel much better. Right now it is horrid because the injection always makes things slightly worse after the local wears off while we wait for the steroids to do their job. Yep, they injected steroids right at 2 nerves, the local is always nice but the steroids take a while to kick in. At least it doesn't burn like Enbrel. I will be able to buy a bunch of the baby stuff we need early next week and can catch up on all our bills as well. Isn't that lovely? I love having the bills caught up and being able to get what we need. Tuesday I am going to ask them to verify the baby's sex because the cord was in the way last time. I am tired, but the Imuran is beginning to show early signs of helping. I have to begin the taper of prednisone Monday.

Hi redrose, I'm glad you got that over with even if it took awhile for the paperwork. It's always somthing isn't it? I hope you are beginning to feel better. That's pretty good to be able to pay off your bills and still buy baby stuff. Didn't you guys just recently buy a house? Or am I dillusional? how is that going?

We bought a double wide trailer in late August. Back pay is really nice but I could have used it for the 3 years I was waiting on it. Oh well, hubby is going to put in a whirlpool tub for my late Christmas present- soaking in warm water always helps my back but the tub we have is so small my 13 year old can't fit properly. Since our neighbor is a contractor in remodeling we are able to do it a lot cheaper. Plus hubby has experience doing that kind of stuff- he helped his dad convert a bedroom into more kitchen space and a bathroom.

I was so happy when I realized exactly what we are going to be able to get done. It takes a load of stress off. I may be able to buy land come July to move the trailer to if I can find the some within our price range and with the proper zoning. It would reduce our bills significantly. We have a few other things we need to do with the trailer but most of them hubby can do alone or with minimal help. Well, I have to lie back down since I have come down with bronchitis- we knew this would happen just been waiting for it- I get it every winter and used to get pneumonia every winter too.
