well I had a different doctor today. He said my lungs sounded good. I think in my case that's a relative term. My blood presssure is 120/68. Without the meds I was taking that caused my migraines and shaking. So he said diffinently don't take it and put it on the list of things I can't take. He wants me to come back in two weeks and see my regular doctor but in the mean time he increased my xanax from .5 x3 to 1x3. Which I am really greatful for. I've been having a terrible time sleeping and nightmares. So hopfully this will help.
anyway it was a good appt lungs are god BP is good. Nothing to complain about. Just hang in there though I'm sure I'll think of somthing lol

Carol, I'm so glad you aren't taking that other BP medicine. I was reading about it on your other topic and it sounds like it was the culprit behind your migraines and the tremors you were having.

I hope the increase in xanax helps with your sleeping. For some strange reason I've been having awful nightmares too - so bad that I don't want to go back to sleep.

Hang in there - it sounds like you home health services should help a lot.

love,
hippi

Hey Carol!

That is great news!  So glad to hear that your bp is normal now without that med! And your lungs sound "good".  I think if they sounded "off" at all, the doctor would have said something for sure.  So this is great!

I hope your sleep gets better, and the nightmares go away.  Keep up the great recovery work!!

Hey Okie!

I'm really happy for you that you walked out of a doctor's office today and felt relieved and I"m sure somewhat happy. The news he gave you was at least on the better side. The xanax should help with the sleep issues; all the cr*p you've been dealing with is enough to give anybody nightnares.

You keep up the slow pace you've been forced into. It may very well be what has led to this improvement. More of the same might lead to more good news.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the support. Yes I did feel much better walking out of the office with good news for a change.

Hippi I sent you an email I hope you get some help with your nightmares and I'm keeping your family in my prayers that the strip throat doesn't spread around. You know you can even spread it to your dogs. and than bounce it around. So if you have a dish washer diffinently use it.

Ginny I have always wanted to tell you that your post at the bottom. Phillipines. I try to remember that every day. Not that it always works but it's somthing to shoot for.

Rosie and Emmie, sending huge hugs your way! I hope you are doing ok tonight and staying warm!

love ya all
