How in the world do you do 60 hours a week? Do you mind if I ask what you do for a living? Judy

Frank, that's an awful lot of work.  Even someone without lupus or fibro would be tired and sore after a week like that!  Take it easy this weekend okay.  Is there any way you can cut your hours?

Judy, I work for the phone company here in Virginia. I work in the fiber department and now it is taken off. I Love my job and have worked very hard to keep it. The good thing about it that I can be at one location for hours. Also, my Boss knows about my health issues. He is amazzed about my work, because I do better then the younger and healther members. I install phones, high speed internet and video service for fiber to the home. But, this week I have had different issues arised with my health and that has taken a toll on me.

My hands are swollen and there is a burnning feeling in them. My legs have been having furtigue since the new year. Not to mation my Vat-D issuses.

I do work must weeks 60 hrs or more, it has been like that for three years.
I have found it very hard to slow down, the work seem to keep my mind off my health. Then after the day it BATH time.

Thanks to everyone....Here is a cup of tea to all...please sit down and enjoy....Love

Wow Frank, I feel so selfish worrying about having to do anything at all. I hope this weekend is restful and that you don't have to keep up with the 60 hour week indefinitely. It sounds like you like your work and you're obviously good at what you do, but please do take care of yourself. Enjoy that cup of hot tea and your hot bath!!!

I occassionally envy those here who are able to work, but thinking about working 60 hours a week makes me so greatful I am in a situation where I can take care of myself by not working.

Thanks so much Frank! I plan to enjoy my "Do Nothing" Pass! I sure hope you enjoy yours, also! I, too, work fulltime and then some, and I am always exhausted by Fridays. But, even during my time off in July, I am exhausted. I might not be as sore or have as much joint pain as when I am working, but I am still exhausted. So, I wonder if this crazy disease just makes you exhausted rather you work or not?

Thanks, Rosie, for heating up the tea! I saved some for everyone else! Enjoy!
Prayers,
Audrey Ann

Yes, It can be that way. At times I can feel so good when I wake up, then an hour later you are just tried. I haven't even do anything. The best thing about my health is my wife understands how I can be...So, now when we go shopping, I will let her know when I get tried. She has been a blessing to me.

I have had a nice day today...went to our new house and worked a little....no much, but we are getting it done. Hope to be done in June. Once my daughter finishes school we are gone.

Here is another pot of tea...hope all have enjoy the pass

Best to all...and Thanks
