Hi Jenisis,

I take probiotics every day. They're the good stomach bacteria found in yogurt.  Acidopilus. I take 1 or 2 high potency capsules every day.  They have absolutely helped in my issues.  I even lost 30 pounds when I first started taking them!

Autoimmune diseases make us more suseptable to yeast issues in our guts and all over basically.  So the acidophilus eats the yeast and keeps us stable and our guts and intestines, bowels, very healthy.  Helps us to absorb our meds better, nuturients etc.  I just had a special test done to see how much bacteria is in my intestines and bowels.  My GI doctor said there wasn't a single spot of bad bacteria in me!!!  He wants me to keep taking the acidophilus.

Best kind to get is the refridgerated brands, high quality.  At least 15 billion organisms per capsule.  Make sure you talk to your doctor first before starting any natural remedies, okay!

Greetings! I take acidolpholus daily, too, and I agree with Ginny, they make a big difference. (I didn't lose weight like Ginny did, though! I am jealous - lol!)

I also tried taking aloe vera gel tablets, glucosamine, and fish oil gel tablets. I tried this for about eight months and I didn't notice any benefit. I became really tired of all the "natural" pills I had to swallow along with all my prescriptions that I gave up on the natural stuff.

Have you found anything beneficial besides prescription meds?
Prayers,
Audrey Ann

I take fish oils for my dry eyes as I have sjogrens also and they are a huge help if I miss a few days I can really tell. Then I take a very good multi vitamin which sick or not everyone should unless they eat 7 servings of fruit and veggies every day. And I am a huge fan of accupuncture it has really done a lot for me and I could never give it up
UCTD and sjogrens ( terrible dry mouth)  all biotene products and refresh liquigel eye drops and now LDN therapy which is a life saver

I take fish oil every day, as well as a probiotic. I am currently in a flare - my own fault for being out in the sun last weekend (but that's another story!) I started working with an acupuncturist yesterday and am hopeful that he can help me. I see my Rheumatologist this week and I don't even want to know what he is going to put me on but I am sick of feeling like CRAP - which is what I feel like right now. Has anyone else had good results with Chinese Medicine?

Thank you for the info. I haven't been diagnosed yet--as I hope I'm Lupus free, but just in case, I's like the info.

Thnk you again, get well all.

Hi Jenesis,

I take the omega 3 fish oil too.  Forgot to mention that one!  It's been amazing for me.  I can taper down on my prednisone because this stuff is so good at reducing inflammation.  I'm glad to be taking it!

You be well too!
