Well she came out at 8:00 a.m. She was very likable. She really doesn't have any experience but I find it hard to say anything wrong about someone that comes in and does my dishes, cleans my bathroom vacums and sweeps and mops my floors. There is still alot to be done but hey rome wasn't built in a day right? She worked 2and ahalf hours instead of 3 but I didn't really have alot for her to do that she would have gotten done within a half an hour except maybe dust. she won't really have to sweep and mop my floors more than twice a month. So we can figure out what works best as we go. I stayed in the living room and took care of some bills and hung up some of my laundry that I had done yesterday. She is supposed to devote one hour to helping me with my personel care if I need it but unless I'm sick I'm still capable of showering and getting dresssed by myself. Especially since they handcapped my bathroom.
She'll be back on thursday. It actually got me moving a little more myself. Doing a little more laundry and stuff and I even did my own bedding and put it back on. All though I won't do that again. I can wash it but putting sheets on a king bed left me winded.
Anyway that's how my day went.
take care

Yeah Carol. I just found someone to come to my house and help me with my office work. My brain fog has gotten so bad that I was making mistakes that I would never have made in the past, and my energy level isn't what it used to be either, so I had baskets and baskets of bills, correspondence, and other projects that have to be taken care of. Now I'll be able to do things in my office that I have put off for so long. She and I worked together for the first time today and we worked so well as a team. Like your cleaning lady, she just jumped right in and got to work. If you feel anything like I do tonight, you must feel 50 pounds lighter.

I'm glad you aren't going to change your sheets anymore. That's a job she can do for you. There's nothing better than fresh clean sheets.

Let me know what else is going on with you. Sorry I didn't call today but I spent the day trying to rent one of my duplexes, and am running myself ragged getting a rent house ready to sell. Sounds like we both had a productive day.

Enjoy your clean house.

Way great Carol!!

Sorry she's inexperienced. That could work both ways for you though. Some with experience learn how to gloss over things and not really clean . . . but inexperience will cause her to take longer to do most things.

I hope you have a list started. Its amazing what you'll think of after she's gone!! LOL

I hope this works out well for you.

Blessings!

Hi Carol!

I'm so glad it went well for you.  To make a bed is a big accomplishment!  Especially a king!  Whew.  Good for you Carol.  I hope it continues to go really well for you and makes a positive impact on your recovery!  Thanks for letting us know how it went!

Lots of love
Ginny

How nice it must be to have your cleaning done for you....I did try that one time, but found myself cleaning before the cleaning lady arrived, lol.
Really don't like to show my house messy. So I let her go. What's the use if I'm going to get in a frenzy trying to hurry and clean up before she arrives?!! But, my house sure was nice and clean when she left. Aw well.

Good for you Carol.
