I just wanted to post and say that I had a "lupus-like" reaction to remicade, a drug I was taking for ulcerative colitis and it was absolutley debilitating for months.  I am finally feeling so much better and am thankful to not be living in that constant pain anymore.
 
I had gone to so many doctors who didnt believe me and made me think it was all in my head, im sure a frustration alot of you deal with.  Please know that I have felt the pain and it is NOT a good feeling.

Diagnosed w/UC at age 18
Fibromyalgia & Chronic Fatigue at age 16
Acid Reflux & Drug Induced Lupus 10/07 (from Remicade)
Current Meds - Asacol (12 pills daily)
-Nexium 40mg/day
-Canasa suppository (1000mg at bedtime)
-Lexapro (10mg)
-Prednisone (40mg when flaring)
-Multivitamin, Aloe Vera Gel

Ii hate that that you had that experience. My brother was diagnosed with Crohn's and UC at age 16. So, although I have not experienced, I watched him suffer immensley. He finally had his colon and 6 feet of his small intestines removed. He has the j pouch. So, no more colitis; occasional flares with Crohn's. He has 2 beautiful kids and one on the way! He's a tuff guy! God Bless you, Judy

   I'm sorry you had to go through so much. It's good to hear you are doing so much better now. I hope you continue to improve with each passing day. Take care and keep us updated.
