I need to stop looking on line about spinal tap

 Do you typically get a spinal tap for lupus or should I be concerned that it could be something else?

((( hugs ))) bless your heart. I have never heard of a spinal tap to dx lupus, I am sure your doctors are just trying to be thorough. Try not to worry until there is something to worry about. Hang in there, take care.

I had one because of concern about cns involvement with lupus. They shouldn't schedule these things so far in advance. You have too much time to worry and anticipate! Take a deep breath and relax. It will be behind you before you know it. Judy

Its for my headaches. that I have been having. I had a mri and a ct which showed some spots they are looking at to see if its lupus related. I work in the medical field which doesnt help matters. Im trying to be calm about it.. Although the last two days I feel great.. which is nice for a change.
