5 years ago my middle toe started looking like I had dropped something on it. It had a bruise in the nail area close to bottom then it had a cut in the toe nail. I have had dr look at and she didn't say a whole lot. Now my big toe on right foot is doing the same thing.

I'm still trying to figure things out.

That's really odd Roni!  I would be wondering what the heck is up too.  I wish I had some insight on this for you.  Isn't lupus just wonderful.... (sarcasm!)

I'm not sure if I have Lupus. My Dr took test last year and everything was fine except my iron was down and my inside Thremastate is borken. That though could be from Fibro. I also get the skin thing when out in sun or ultravolet lights.

Plus anymore I get sick at the drop of a hat and stay sick for what seems like forever.

Yeah I have a middle toe that looks like that.  It doesnt bother me. what does bother is they tingle alot, need to get on another nerve med soon, to help stop the tinglies eyes
I know what you mean though, its like something new every day, what wasnt there yesterday is there today, youre like what going on, I didnt have that yesterday, so whats up?
I would ask dr about see what they say, there may be some root damage to the nail bad, thats what i suspect in mine, and it will just keep growng that way, and as long as it doenst bother me, Im just gonna let it go.
What is bothering that didnt have 2 weeks ago is a forehead twictch, its annoying, no pain, just anoying, ok, so it went away, and has traveled to my left eyebrow, which is now twitchng constantly. whats up with that!!
I never been a face twitcher, and hand twticher, but not a face twitcher. I wish the new symptoms of I dont know what would go away!!!!!!!!! skull
Good luck with your toes, if it doesnt hurt I wouldnt be too worried, but just to be safe re ask doctor, i did notice after re-reading, you showed dr, and they said nothing.  You want them to say something, like its fine, or dont worrry about it, or lets check it out, but they say nothing its so da****d annoying. Doctors!! scool ...

Sheryl, It doesn't hurt most of the time. The middle toe will hut once in great while depending on weather.

Can't afford one at this time. Watching children at home gives me no insurance. So when I see a dr of any kind I have to pay out of pocket.

Roni,

about 9 month ago, I had a similar bruise on the top part of my foot & toes ... turned out to be a burst blood vessel. As a precaution, I had X-rays done & nothing was broken. The bruise didn't hurt, just looked pretty nasty. :) Hopefully your experiencing the same thing. And my discoloration did go away after a month or two.
