Bloodwork question

We ran labs a couple of weeks ago, not the ANA panels this time, just the regular stuff.  My ESR and CRP are still elevated (even higher than before I started the Orencia).  My platelets are now high, but I found that it is likely due to chronic inflammation.  But since December my carbon dioxide levels are consistantly low.  Anyone had this happen?  I'm not finding a whole lot of information about it.

Hi Jeannie,
   I agree the Crp, Esr and elevated platlets could be from the inflammation. I don't know anything about the Carbon Dioxide levels. Hopefully, someone else will and help you out. Take care and keep us updated.

I have no clue on low carbon dioxide levels. I have never heard of that before. ESR and CRP being elivated definately points to inflammation and if inflammation can raise platelet counts then you likely have your answer for all 3 of those tests.
