This week my sister in law gave me a huge suprise which both stunned me and honored me at the same time. I can't believe that anyone would do something so special in honor of me. Me!! Little ole me!! She lives in Alberta Canada and the tattoo shop in their town was doing a fund raiser for cancer. She went down to the shop with the intention of just donating money towards cancer and decided that she was going to get a tattoo. And before you wonder if I have cancer, I don't, just Lupus and RSD. But the tattoo that she got involves me. She decided to get a pink ribbon in honor of her Grandma who passed away from cancer and a purple ribbon for Lupus in honor of me. And she tattooed her Grandma's name on the pink ribbon and my name on the purple ribbon!!! The tatoo is about 4 inches long and 4 inches wide. It is beautiful and I still can't believe that she would ever do something like that for me!!!! Her Grandma I can understand, but me? I am just her sister in law, but I love her so much and I am so proud of her. I honestly didn't know what to say to her when she told me, other then cry and say Thank You. Wow what a gift of friendship she gave to me.

Thanks. It was so sweet of her to do it. Some of my family is sweet and loves me lots, the rest of them don't believe that I am sick, they think I am faking it. And my husbands family is the same way, half of them believe me, the other half doesn't. So the ones that love me are the ones that I love and care for. What a nice way for her to show me that she believes in me. I am very lucky.

Ginny, I am very blessed to have her as a friend and SIL. She is very special to me.
Alberta is a beautiful Province. She is in Lethbridge. I have only been to Alberta once and I fell in love with it. I can't wait to go back and see them again.

Take care,
Connie
