Hey Ginny ????

Did you move yet???? How did that go? How are you feeling sis? I know you had a tripple whammy last week with all that was going on. If you get a minute, let us know how things are going.

Blessings!

Hi Rosie!

Thank you so much for caring to ask how I'm doing. You're so supportive and thoughtful.

The move went well, and we're in our new house.  It's big and beautiful and I can't believe we live here, LOL!  The lupus is calming down too.  I'm tapering down the prednisone starting today.  I can tell I'm doing better when the pred is making me crazy, neurotic and clummsy!  I should be back to feeling fine in a day or so I think.  That was probably the worst flare up I've had in more than 6 years.

Willow, my cat is doing much better too. She's responding to the insulin very well and is actually taking half of what she first started on!  She tolerates the needles great.  So that stress is alleviated too.  All the stress from last month is going away.  Thank goodness!

How are you doing?  I know you're very busy in the chron's forum these days.  I hope your health is good!

Thanks again for being such a good friend Rosie!

Hugs,
Ginny

((((((((( Ginny ))))))))

My eyes bugged out as I read your post! You moved during such a bad flare!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!

Glad your in and able to take your time now. You'll be busy for many weeks/months now with wedding season!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!

Yeahhhh!!! Kitty doing better!!! She's got a sympathy disease from living with you . . . LOL!!! She felt left out!!! He hehehehe! I know it isn't funny . . . it hurts really bad to see our pets struggle . . . but I'm glad she's doing so well with her treatment. Now, she'll need to schedule time on your computer to visit the diabetes forum!!!

Thanks for describing how you know when your pred is really working and when to taper. I hope never to need that info . . . but likely be taking Entocort which is a steroid (with less side affects than pred). Thanks for your concern. It's been three weeks since my dx and I haven't heard back from the GI yet. She gave me a rx for Entocort and was waiting for results from an IBD panel blood work. I called today and they haven't received the results yet. So . . . still waiting. Having been feeling fairly well thanks. I do get some discomfort in the gut, but nothing like the awful pain I've had several times before.

Thanks for you kind comments!! You were a GREAT teacher!!! I learned SO MUCH from you. I saw your great attitude and copied it the best I could. That has made my life so much richer!! Thank YOU!!

Blessings!
