Hi everyone, yes it's me the stranger. I'm sorry I havn't been around. Between my breathing and various other pains and tiredness I just have not been much of a conversationalist.Plus this stupid rain is making my breathing worse. I had planned on moving back to arizona but it turns out I will be staying out here a little longer only selling my house and moving into a small (mother in law type place) at my brothers house close to Enid Oklahoma. So I will be looking into new doctors and stuff. It might be a good thing since no one here seems to know what's wrong with me.
I've really been suffering a lot of anxiety. Not just because of the move but some of my meds cause increased anxiety. I have doctor appt next week. 2 to be exact. a rheumy on the 13 and my pcp the next day. this is a new rheumy. Who knows maybe the 3rd time is a charm.
Anyway I just wanted to let everyone know I'm still here and keeping you all in my prayers. I can't promise to get on here much for awhile but I will try.
Please take care
love

Deep breath!!! Hang in there . . .

Carol, I'm really sorry you are feeling so rotten. You have so much going on it's no wonder you are having anxiety. Hopefully your pcp can maybe give you something to help a little.

I hope the new rheumy is a good one. The third time was a charm for me and I hope it is for you too. You are in my prayers. ((((Hugs)))).

Love and prayers,
hippi

Hi Carol,
Hope you get some answers from the new doctors. I'm going through a similar thing at Mayo, with no clear results. I hope that they do a thorough workup and figure you out and you feel better. Maybe the anxiety and breathing are going together. I get anxiety and short of breath and when they do a blood gas, they see I have high carbon dioxide and low oxygen. If you feel really bad, please go to the ER. Maybe the anxiety could also be a bad reaction to one of your meds or a sign your electrolytes/potassium is not where it should be or even that your lung medicines aren't working well enough. I hope you get an answer soon. Remember you are in my thoughts and prayers always.
Love, Marji

Carol,

I've been MIA and didn't know that you were still in Oklahoma or that you were doing so badly. My heart really goes out to you. This non-stop rain is so bad for you and I hear we're going to have a real wet summer, so you won't get any relief from the humidity. I hope that living by your brother will provide you with more support because girl, you really need it.

Good luck finding a good rheumy in Enid. Why don't you call the Oklahoma Memorial Reserach Foundation, lupus department, and ask them for the name of one. They are the lupus specialists in this part of the country. I don't have their number right off hand but can get it for you.

When you do get a new doc maybe they can prescribe something to help with your anxiety. Believe me, you need a break from all of this!

Thinking of you,

Pat

Hi everyone. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers, encouragement and advice. I was hoping that I would be able to write somthing to each of you because your all so special to me. Unfortunately my mind can't concentrate for that long. Do you ever get like that? I feel like a jumbled up mess of thoughts. I guess there is just a lot going on right now. Lots of dissions to make. In the mean time trying not to flare. Breathing is still rough but I had alot of help getting most of my house packed up. Won't move for a couple of weeks yet but I kept of few plates and cups and clothes out.
Marji, one thing jumped out at me I havn't taken my pot. lately. My lasix didn't seem to be doing anything so I havn't taken it. So I started yesterday. Hopfully that will help.
Pat thanks for the tip about the clinic you mentioned I will check into it.
well I need to go I'm starting to get a little stiff.
love ya all
