Thanks to all that responded to my foot injury/lupus post. I was really thinking the lupus pain was breaking thru again, but after a trip to the doc yesterday and an xray, it was confirmed that it was indeed the injury that caused the pain and after being off of it (completely) for one day, I am already seeing a marked improvement. I am very happy about that because now I am off the pred and so far, so good. I was afraid I would have to go back on it.

Anyway..thanks for your posts urging me to get it checked out.

It is easy for us to blame everything on our cronic disease yet sometimes it really is the flu, a broken foot, or something entirely different. I am sorry your foot is hurting but glad you got answers and that its not a flare and you don't need the pred.

Well that's a good thing isn't it!  Finally something that can't be blamed on lupus, lol!  I'm glad to hear you're off the prednisone.  That gives me hope that someday I can be off it too.

Thanks for letting us know what the outcome was of that.  It sure was a mystery!
