I'm not sure, but I'm guessing you must have gotten some sun somehow. I remember that happening to me a few times last summer - I thought I was pretty protected from the sun, but wasn't totally protected and had a reaction. It sounds like you might be pretty sensitive to the sun. Make sure to write these things down as hey happen so you can tell your doc. If I remember right, you have some lupus symptoms but no diagnosis yet. The low grade fever and the sun sensitivity are commom in lupus.
Diagnosis:  UCTD (lupus) 2006; Raynauds 2006; Sjogren's 2006; lupus symptoms began 2003; CFS 1991; Mono 1985
Meds:  Plaquenil 400mg; Prednisone 5-10mg; Tramadol 100mg 3-4x daily; Doxepin 25-50mg; Prevacid; Evoxac; Steriod Cream and Mouth Rinse for tongue and mouth ulcers; Hydrocodone 5/500 prn for severe pain; Artificial tears

My dr ran test last year and everything was fine except ofr low iron. I know that low grade fever is also for Fibro. But I had to think back to a few weeks ago and my running a fever.

Hey Roni,

I have trouble in the shade and the sun.  For me it's the heat and high temperatures that make me flare up.  It's awful.  I know what you're talking about.  Even in the shade we're not safe from this!!
