I just wanted to say that I probably won't be back online until sometime Saturday.  My little girl (6yrs old)  entered a big regional dance competition back in April and her score was high enough that she qualified to compete in the national competition which is only an hour away from us.  We are heading up tomorrow and spending the night at a hotel since she dances early Friday morning.  We are all very excited.  She's been having some health problems lately though, so I'm a little worried about her - she's got an appointment with her pediatrician next week.  Hopefully it's just something minor.

As for me, I've been feeling really good again.  I've felt so good that I've been able to exercise these past two weeks and haven't had to rest quite as much, but I am making sure I don't overdo it and I've lost a few pounds.  I just pray it continues.  I finally feel like I'm on the right combination of meds.

That's really great that you've had 2 weeks of feeling well enough to exercise & lose wieght!

You've had some rough times in the last few months, so it's doubly great that you are feeling well!

Have fun at the dance competition -- I'm sure all the dancers are lovely!

Thanks everyone. I've been back for a few days, but have been so busy I haven't had a chance to be on the computer. I'm very tired, but doing pretty well for how busy I've been. My daughter did a great job at the national competition and got a first place in her category. Now we are in the middle of baseball tournaments for my son and my daughter is still taking dance several days a week and will start some community performances next week at lots of the little county fairs and with her last summer performance at the state fair.

We had a follow up doctor appointment for my daughter yesterday and everything looks good. She had lots of blood in her urine last week and the doc wasn't sure where it was coming from and there was no indication of a UTI. Fortunately it is resolved now and there is no more blood.

I will try to catch up here. I see we have some new members - welcome to all the new members :)

Wonderful news, Hippi! I am so happy to hear your daughter did so well in her competition! I hope she is feeling/doing better healthwise(?).

Also, please take things a bit slow as you try to make the rounds of your children's activities! I remember, with fondness, all the games and competitions, and plays, and, and, and, it goes on and on! Those were some of the best times! Aren't we fortunate to be able to support our children in their pursuits?

Prayers and Blessings to you and your family!
Prayers,
Audrey Ann

Hi Hippi,

Just wanted to say I'm glad you are feeling well and congratulations to your daughter! My daughter has been dancing for 14 years now and just loves it. It is good exercise and it's great your daughter is so talented. She must feel good about her accomplishments and I know you are very proud of her.

How has your son been doing? I hope summer vacation helps him get back on his feet.

Sandy
