i have had an odd thing happening for awhile now and i'm not sure if any of you have had this problem but my dr has never been able to explain this.  my lymph nodes in my armpit will hurt and then also in my neck.  alot of times this occurs before a period or right before i get sick.  although it has happened other times as well.  i have been checked for breast cancer but it was negative, so i'm not sure why this keeps happening.  at times the node on my neck becomes so painful my neck will also become so stiff i won't be able to move it for a week or two.  i'm just wondering if anyone else has had this experience?

(((((Domanique)))))), gentle hugs, I am so sorry you are dealing with this pain. It is very frustrating when doctors cannot help much - makes you think you must be a hypochondriac. You are not! Keep searching. I am just learning about this, but could it be Fibromyalgia? Do you have a rhuemy? I would ask my rhuemy or ask to be referred to one.

My thoughts and prayers are with you!
Prayers,

I have Sjrogrens, and only know so far waht I have experienced & lived with
as for symtomology
Recently however I am having problems.. and a sense of pressure...// discomfort & some actual pain in lower abdomin, and groin area

my Reflexologist can tell that I am am having lymph congestion( I think she called it)
and even to sit.... feels rather uncomfortable
like theres too much down there in the pelvic area

my neck also sometimes hurts...
and when I am in a falre
my glands "Partoid" (spelling ?).......swell and I look like a chipmunk with filled pouches

I do have a Rhumey, and maybe I need to call to get in to see her again
since I'm having problems....
and pain, that interferes with daily living. & I'm having a hard time working; coping
also now battling a anxiety... and depression

i have pain ..... on left side about 3-4" up from hip bone...
and this yucky feeling pressuring on pelvic floor

I also feel "sick" and have aches all over...

dont know what to do
need some one to talk to

Hi domanique . . . Sjogren's can cause those symptoms too. I don't know much about what you do for it though . . . sorry. I find that inflammation, in general, gets all this other stuff going too. *sigh* So I wonder if your doc has prescribed anti-inflams that might help? I hope some of the others with Sjogren's will comment. I am mildly affected and don't take special meds for it.

Shelter . . . make sure to communicate your GI issues to your docs. I ignored similar issues + some bad pain and other problems and have recently been dx'd with probably Crohn's. The immune system can attack your intestines and colon too. sad

Blessings!

Hey rosie
I like that
we cant control the waves.... but we CAN learn to surf!!

i feel even more "bloater"/ mmm maybe inflamed is the proper word

some edema
the pain i am having I guess I do want addressed...
but because I find the path to the answers somewhat fustrating with Dr's and visits to Emergency
i sometimes just give up
keep going like as if I'M NOT in pain
when I am

I don't usually tell too many people
the actual state I am in
I might complain a little,

but dont let on as to the fact
im feeling close to my end of being alble to do any thing
even house work

cooking

working takes the stuffing right out of me

lol

Domanique,

The ER has a definite place in our care . . . but I would avoid it unless you have an actual emergency (something that can't wait for a phone call to your chosen doctors).

The sometimes do whats called "treat and street". This can be way expensive but doesn't always bring you further along as far diagnosis and treatment because they generally end your visit with "make sure to see your regular doctor".

One exception: some people w/o insurance can use the ER and qualify for help with payment.

I'm sorry you have so many issues to deal with. I was just reading your sig and you really have lots to deal with. ((((((((( Dominique ))))))))).

Blessings!
