Hey everyone.  I just wanted to let everyone know that I am leaving tomorrow for a nice long vacation to the wonderfully cool climate of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.  I'll be gone through the 24th.  This vacation will be nice because it is so long I can get plenty of rest and relaxation in the cool mountain air without feeling we have to cram a bunch of activities in in a short amount of time.  I think we might bring a laptop computer along, but I have no idea if we will have internet access where we are staying.  The only thing I'm dreading is the drive out and back, but we break each drive down into two 5-6 hr days with plenty of stops.

I can't wait to get to the mountains.  I looked at the weather out there right now and it barely gets up to 70 during the day and gets down into mid 40's at night.  That's my kind of weather cool .
I'll miss everyone and I'll miss the daily trivia too, although I really stunk at the one today tongue

Have a wonderful vacation Hippi! Sorry the drive is so hard on you. If you have an ipod can you listen to soft music or a good book? That always helps the time go by for me and it's also relaxing. And I never travel without a couple of my favorite pillows!

I haven't taken today's trivia test and now I'm afraid to if you didn't do well. It must be a hard one.

We'll miss you and will be anxious to hear about your triip when you return. Stay well!

Wow Hippi, that sounds like just what you need right now. I hope the weather stays like that it sounds perfect. But be sure to bring lots of sunscreen. You'll be gone a long time. Now that I'm getting back into the swing of things you're leaving tongue . You will be missed but I know you'll have a great time and I'm sure the kids will enjoy their last fling before school starts again.

Have fun a gets lots of rest and TLC

love ya

Thanks Pat, Carol, and Judy. I'm taking a break from packing right now. Pat, the trivia was really hard today, it's one of those where you need to be a doc to answer the questions. I only got three right.

I do have my books, music, pillows and I bring along a twin memory foam mattress topper for my side of the bed too :)

Hi,

I just got back from Colorado..Denver and Boulder and it was very, very hot. I am sure it will be cooler up in the mountains. I wish I had spent some time there as I was not expecting it to be hotter than California. Have fun!

Have fun, Hippi, and pace yourself and wear sunscreen and take naps and enjoy your kids and enjoy your husband and, and, and, and!

Don't let the "ands" confuse you!

I will keep you in my prayers!
Prayers,
