Why are you taking so much Furosemide? That's a relatively large dose related to 5mg of prednisone. Are you having kidney issues? How's your blood pressure? I know exactly what you are going through. It is tough! Especially on a job. I am currently taking 80 mg of Lasix a day, but I have very low kidney function and I am on 30mg of prednisone again. If you talk to your doc he/she may decrease it. Good luck, JUDY

Hi ya meeks. I was wondering too. Why are you on it if you aren't having problems with peeing? I take it daily but I'm only on 20mg.I never have an urgentcy to go. Perhaps the doctor can cut it down. I take it because of fluid retention and congestive heart failure. Also I didn't see where you were taking potassium? I certainly hope you are. When you take lasix and pee alot you lose the pottasium. Check with your doctor but loosing pottassium is NOT a good thing. Maybe you could take the furoseminde as you get off work or when ever getting to the bathroom isn't quite the problem you have now?

let us knows
