All I did was hit it on the side of the dresser. This stupid predisone has thinned my bones out so badly. My toe is all black all the way around it. I can't even wear shoes. Well I can wear one. tongue Than I try to compensate by putting most my weight on the left foot and my ankle starts aching immediately. Like I can't carry the weight of my body anymore. shakehead I'm not the smallest I've ever been but I'm not the largest either so I have to assume it's this disease that has my muscles becoming weaker. Oh well it could be worse. I could have broken my leg! Gotta keep serching for the good right? !!!!!!!

Oh Carol!!

ACK!! That's awful. Do you have a little mini cast on it tongue .  Good thing it wasn't a major bone. Really, do our pinkie toes actually do anything for us??  I think if we lopped them off we wouldn't miss them. LOL.  But dang, they sure hurt when we drive them into a dresser.

Sorry you're dealing with yet another issue..... I can relate, sis.  Take it easy!

Carol, Carol, Carol. Girlfriend, what else could possibly happen to make your life any harder. That darn prednisone. It's like men. Can't live with it, can't live without it. With that in mind, I'm going to send you a great joke. You'll at least get a laugh for a minute or two.

Can you somehow get to a pharmacy and rent a cane till your toe heals? If you start walking crooked you'll hurt your hips, and who knows what else. What we all need is to act like invalids and be waited on. Right. Like that's going to happen. But do stay off your feet as much as you can.

I'm off to email you that joke. Hang in there Carol.

Hey Ginny . . . actually the pinky toe is a real help with our balance. You really realize how much you use it when it hurts.

Blessings!
