i was brushing my hair the other day and had to clean out the brush twice.  I also have been noticing that when i wake up in the am theres tons of hairs on my pillow and bed.  Its not like broken hair, its full strands.  I've had thinner hair ever since I had my daughter 16 yrs ago, but now its getting thinner and thinner every day.  has anyone else had this happen to them?  what do you do?

I beleive a lot of us do have that problem. Mine is starting to finally slow down on the strands falling out. I say finally after several years of my hair thinning. I actually look like I have a lot of hair because it's long but if you touch it you can tell it is pretty thin. I think some of the meds cause it. Have you noticed that the hair on your legs doesn't grow as thick either? The only thing I have done is use a really good conditioner so that I don't get it tangled and it combs easier. It seems to help some. Some people on here just wear their hair short. I do think the thinning hair is reversible with if certain meds get changed but I'm not really that sure about it. I hope somone will come along and give you some good answers. I personally think we should all shave are heads and make a statment! of course I wouldn't recommend it to people with reynaurds. This same question was asked on the 22nd. You might check it out. there were several responses that might help ya.
Hang in there sweetie you are not alone in this

My hair was falling out in droves for a while there.  Last September I started Methotrexate, and my hair was already coming out, probably due to the unforgiving flare my body was going through.  Then with the meds, I started to maybe loose a little more, or who knows, maybe that was still from the flare.  Eventually in March, I couldn't take it anymore.  I was having to try and hide fly-aways in places that fly-aways don't happen.  I hated washing my hair because I would end up with a giant handful of it in the shower.  I finally had my sister cut it really short.  She introduced me to some fun products to use with it, and here I am.  My hair has always been thin and fine, but its barely to my shoulders and I am ready to snip snip again so it looks like I have some hair.  My brother (a man, mind you.haha) noticed how thin my hair was in certain spots and asked me why.

I think alot of people just cut their hair so its less noticeable.  It gave me a confidence boost when people weren't constantly checking out my barely there hair.  It may come back thicker some day, but my attitude is if it does, I can always grow it back out again.

That's so cute when kids call it Lucas.  My 10 year old niece was going to stay the night at my house.  When we got settled in and were hanging out, she asked me what "Lucas" was-because grandma told her to be good to her aunt because she has problems with her "lucas".  That melted my heart and I had a hard time not laughing about it in front of her.

Domanique you should have your FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) checked as it can be a sign of pituitary problems, often due to steroids. But also other stuff can be out of whack. Its a simple blood test. I would bring it up with the doc. There may be a solution.
