hi there people,i've bin reading about facial swelling.I myself have bad facial swelling as a result of lupus & rheumatoid arthritis.Some days its worse than others but am always aware of it.I also have butterfly rash on my face.I cope for my kids sake.any1 in a similar position feel free to reply sad I am also on a high dose of steroids & immunosuppressants.
Thank you for responding to my post. I just wanted to put you on your own post so people wouldn't miss ya. Somtims that happens. I'm glad you found this group.  I'm sorry you are having to deal with all of this. But you will get lots of support here.

Diagnosis:  UCTD (lupus) 2006; Raynauds 2006; Sjogren's 2006; lupus symptoms began 2003; UC 2008; CFS 1991; Mono 1985
Meds:  Plaquenil 400mg; Prednisone 5-10mg; Tramadol 100mg 3-4x daily; Doxepin 25-50mg; Prevacid; Evoxac; Steriod Cream and Mouth Rinse for tongue and mouth ulcers; Hydrocodone 5/500 prn for severe pain; Artificial tears
