I ran accrossed this article re: How the u.s. government decides if a person with an auto immune disease is disabled. It's a lot of reading but I thought it might interest someone.
here's the link
also free and discounted meds and lots of other good info on this page http://www.sclero.org/support/disability/a-to-z.html#free
also for anyone interested my sleep study said yes I do have apnea. I looked it up because I know many people on here have it. Surprsingly I ran accrossed an article about sleep apnea and RLS are both related to A/I diseases shocked . I was kind of surprised.

I have bigger problems then that but hopfully it will help me sleep. The doctor wanted the test done because hethought it might help my heart.
hugs

Hey Okie,

I went straight to the website about Nexium and other drugs to see if I was eligible for it.  And if I am enrolled in any government program for the meds, I am not eligible for this program.  I am enrolled with medicare and medicaid, so I am not eligible.  But thank you for finding this for us, and for sharing it.  this is an interesting site about social security eligibility, and how they determine it.

I don't have sleep apnea, that I know of.  But I think my mother did.  she would quit breathing sometimes at night and I could hear her.  She had diabetes, and I just assumed it was related to that.

Maybe now you can get a more restful sleep and be able to have more energy during the day.  I hope so.
