Hey I was thinking that we could have some fun here.  Let's think about all the funny ways we can look on the bight side of lupus.  I'll start, but it's up to all of you to keep this going.
 
1. I save tons of money on shampoo and conditioner.
 
2. I haven't had a sunburn in 6 years.

4. Probably corny, but I really do appreciate the activities I can participate in much more than I would have pre-diagnosis!

Dx: Lupus, sjogren's, celiac, severe allergies.
Daily Meds: Plaquenil, Zyrtec. Prilosec, Nasacort, Prozac, Ambien CR.
Daily Supplements: Multi-vitamin, Calcium, B-100 Complex.
As Needed Meds: Epinephrine, Benadryl, Proventil, Xopenex, Tylenal, Darvocet, Prednisone.

5. My Mom doesn't bug me about traveling with kids to Miami for visits.

6. I know enough about drugs to be a pharmacy tech and enough about AI to be a rheumatologist, oh wait I'm over-qualified for that one. LOL

Possible scleroderma.  stage 4 COPD, sleep apnea, Osteoporosis,osteoarthritis
Prednisone,plaquanil400mg,azythromyacin,vicodin 4x5mg,Evista60mg, Effexor 150mg,Xanax 1.0 x3,Singular,nitro spray, spirivia,aciphex,lasix,inderal,pot.chlor.,B12

My mattress and I have developed an intimate relationship.

Dx: SLE ('05), depression, diabetes, fibromyalgia, gerd, sleep apnea, hypertension, IBS Tx: CellCept, plaquenil, prednisone, lisinopril, actos, lipitor, nexeum, prozac, seroquel, celebrex, actonel
prn: arthritis tylenol, neurontin, promethazine, ambien, flexeril, multi vit, C, flaxseed oil, acupuncture

12 at least I won't get wrinkles from too much sun

13 I know and I mean KNOW my hubby loves me because of how supportive he has been all along

14 I used the knowledge I gained via learning about lupus as a jumping off point for research on the black death and malnutrition

15 I have an excuse not to participate in the stupid activities at family reunions- you know the ones that no one looks good or smart because of

Dx:fibromyalgia 2002, systematic lupus 2005- definate CNS involvement dxed late 2005, psoriasis 2006, rheumatoid arthritis 2006, PTSD 2007, multiple allergies 2005, migraine, compression fractures T11 & T12, Sj√∂gren's, damaged periphrial nerves 2007, exema
Tx: plaquenil, Enbrel, Tramadol, Singulair, Skelaxin, Baby Asprin, Imuran, Prilosec, lasix, Evoxac, Celebrex, Darvocet when things get too bad, prednisone again, various vitamin/mineral supplements
