I just wanted to let everyone know why I have been kind of scarce lately.  I had finally felt like I was pulling out of my lupus flare when just a few days ago I started feeling really fatigued again, but it turns out it wasn't my lupus, I got hit full force with the flu yesterday - really nasty flu with fever, chills, headache, and body hurting so bad it's hard to move.  Thank goodness I have hydrocodone or I would have had to go to the ER.  I can't stay awake for very long, so I'm back off to bed.
Diagnosis:  UCTD (lupus) 2006; Raynauds 2006; Sjogren's 2006; lupus symptoms began 2003; UC 2008; CFS 1991; Mono 1985
Meds:  Plaquenil 400mg; Prednisone 5-10mg; Tramadol 100mg 3-4x daily; Doxepin 25-50mg; Prevacid; Evoxac; Steriod Cream and Mouth Rinse for tongue and mouth ulcers; Hydrocodone 5/500 prn for severe pain; Artificial tears

Sorry you are feeling so poorly. Strange to thing that the flu would be good news, but sounds like it is when flares are the option.

Take good care of yourself, and don't worry about us. We'll be thinking of you and sending good dreams.

Oh Hippi,

I'm sorry you're so sick.... Get good rest today.  Good thing you have your pain meds.... I'll have to talk to you about those.  I need some much needed relief from my pain too.  When you're better, can we talk?

I'm going to have some of Rosie's tea.  I'll pour you a mug too and we can watch Oprah from our beds!

Rest well my friend,

Hey I'm with you and Ginny sounds like bed is a good idea. I was just looking last night at when the last time was you posted. I noticed you had been quiet for a few days. I'm glad you let us know what was going on but sorry you have been sick. Yes the codein probably helped the cough and helped you sleep.
Get some more rest and take care of yourself
love ya

Was wondering how you are doing by now. Are you ok?

Hot tea for you!!! I'm fixing up your bed with clean sheets and turning on your electric blanket too. I hope that nasty flu-bug is gone.
