Hi Everyone. I fell down a flight of stairs in my house yesterday and at the bottom my back and head hit the wall. I hit the wall so hard I busted a hugh hole in the drywall. BF took me to ER and they gave me morphine for the pain. X-rays are normal, thank God. This is the only time I'll be online today. Gotta go. Love, Butterflake

OH NO! ((((((((( Donna ))))))))) I'm so glad you are ok.

Actually . . . the wall breaking may have saved your brain! The wall took the bigger impact and spared your head. (Hubby and sons ride motorcycles . . . so a mom picks up on this stuff). So don't be aggravated about having a wall to fix, ok?

My friend did the same fall and the wall at the bottom was cinder block. She has some really bad seizures and had a lot of damage . . . . so I'm SO glad you are ok.

I hope you feel better soon. I'll bet you still have bruises and aches and pains.

Keep us posted!!

Blessings!

Ginny, I hope you didn't suffer a concussion when your head hit the wall. I'm happy that you're feeling better.

Hi Donna,

Sounds scary - I hate falling and have done it before.

I had two large dogs on leashes run after squirrels in different directions and tripped over the door jam, falling (actually flying) down 3 steps & landing on a brick patio nose first. Luckily a plastic surgeon wandered by the ER and the nurses grabbed him to sew my nose/upper lip back on -- other wise it would have meant re-constructive surgery & a huge mess.

It sounds, like Rosie said, that the wall breaking was a blessing. I hope you heal rapidly and don't have any flare-type repercussions from the fall.

Cheers,

Hey Pat!  No, it wasn't me that fell, it was Donna.

I agree with Lynnwood and Rosie that the wall breaking was a good thing. I'm glad you're not so sore today.  Keep resting!!
