Well, it has been awhile since I posted and though I have good news I also have bad news.
1. We got the money to pay the rent and are still in our home YAY! yeah yeah yeah
2. My brother in law sent us money that really helped when something came up see next :-)
3. We finally tore the carpet out of my son's bedroom because his allergies seemed to be getting worse but we found...
4. black mold on the floor under the carpet which required treatment and ate up number 2 shocked
5. His walls and floor are finished and look great now and the mold is dead
6. I am the one who ripped out the carpet and I am flaring as a result and in horrible pain shakehead
7. I also seem to have a cold or something nono
8. Hubby's ekg didn't look good so he had an echocardiogram we get the results Wednesday sad
9. My period is late and I am worried because I am on cellcept and flaring I cannot afford to be pregnant now but we used 3 birth control methods so maybe it is stress shakehead
10. My annual physical is Wednesday and my annual pap is the 9th
11. I am down to 15mg prednisone and next week will drop to 12.5mg because no matter that I am flaring my body needs off the pred for my bones.
12. I am showing neurological improvement but still have some issues that I am unsure will ever go away now

As you can see a lot has happened

thanks. I am so glad about the good things but the bad things are really worrying me at the moment. I may buy a home pregnancy test just to reassure myself but what if it is positive? I am on cellcept and my rheumy said any baby conceived on cell cept would not be one I would want to carry to term. besides which my health would be in danger because to safely carry a baby I have to have a remission. gads this is so worrisome. How could 3 birth control methods fail though? I don't have morning sickness and I alway am sick when pregnant. I am no more tired than usual and no breast tenderness which are also my usual signs of pregnancy. I hope I am just late cause the lupus is screwing with my hormones.

Hi Redrose,

You all must be relived to have that mold issue out of the way.  Your son is going to feel so much better, in fact you all will!

I hope your period shows up right now shocked  .  If you ever want to talk about hysterectomies, you can email me.  I'm 3 1/2 weeks post op from mine and I'm feeling absolutely incredible.  I think this has put my lupus in an extremely quiet state.  Plus, I don't ever have to worry about getting pregnant.  It's been amazing.  No regrets, and no complications.  Just wanted to put that out there for ya!

Keep us posted okay,

Blessings,
Ginny

well my period finally showed up. Better late than pregnant as I have read some child put it. One worry off my shoulders though with my period comes the extra fatigue and slight light headedness that comes from heavy blood loss. My pain levels are slowly returning to normal and we seem to have kicked the cold or whatever out of my system. I am just so darned tired.

my husband has to see a cardiologist. he apparently has 2 issues- 1 a part of his heart is enlarged (his blood pressure likely caused this) and 2 where normal people have 3 valves he has 2 doing the job of 3.

Hey Red Rose,

you have heard it before from others, and I hear it too.  rest.  If you are tired, rest.   your body needs to use all its resources to help yourself heal.

Today is one out of many days for me that are not bad ones.  I am so tired of resting.  Laying on the stupid bed so muc.  Hated the TV.   but today I have been rewarded for making myself rest, or let myself rest.

Today has been a wonderful day for me.  Energy and motivation returned to me.  Can't remember how long it has been since I wanted to clean things.

Your day will be heard too.  Please rest.  maybe you can get some movies to help you rest, and  concentrate on healing.  Maybe your library can help you find some movies that they loan to us.
