So, I am dropping back on prednisone and though my energy level has taken a hit I am still seeing improvement in my neurological condition. Notice I am able to coherently post again. I have even been writing again. I am 1/4 of the way through writing a romance book. I don't expect much to come of it but ironically my husband loves what I have written so far. Maybe I have some kind of cross gender book going. I mean to get a man interested in a romance novel, wow. My ego got a huge boost. This post isn't taking me an hour to write either. I had to share good news with so much bad going on I figure we all needed something encouraging. I am down to 12.5mg pred from 20. I am on 150mg Imuran and 500mg Cellcept. Next month I discuss going off Cellcept with my rheumy. Well, I am being paged by the little munchkin. He is so big and 7 months old now.

Redrose!  that is super news.  I can tell in your post that you're doing better cognitively.  Doesn't that feel amazing!  I love that your hubby is enjoying your romance novel. That must be some book!!  You never know where something like that can take you!

Keep enjoying your good days Redrose.  It's delightful knowing you're doing so much better!

I'm so glad to hear that things are improving, especially with neurological and cognitive stuff. Writing your novel sounds like fun. I used to write a lot and still have ideas for writing to enter my brain - I just have more trouble getting them out on paper now. I hope things keep going well as you taper down more of your meds. Take care
