if drinking water helps Lupus.....?

I've been going to this weight loss center and the lady there told me that... I said, my Dr. has never told me that.... and she said , he doesn't have time to tell stuff like that.... Do any of you know if this is right?

I would not trust what those ladies in weight loss center. I never heard of drinking water helps lupus. Anyway, water is good for our body, but the water intake should not exceed daily required amount.

Thank you Omega... I knew I should be drinking water but it is hard for me to get it down... but I'm trying....

Be really careful how much water you drink.  Too much can throw your electrolytes off and that is really dangerous.  It's true that you can kill yourself by drinking too much water!
 
Recommended amount is 8 cups a day. I probably consume about that or a bit more.  The trick to know if you're drinking enough is to look at your pee.  If it's very light with almost no color in it when it's in the bowl, then you're well hydrated.
 
I think keeping ourselves well hydrated can only help us!  It's good for everyone to do.  Great question to bring up Weleetka!

With this diet.. they want you to drink 80 oz of water a day..
I find it really hard to do...

I just wondered if she really knew or she was just telling me that....thanks
