Well, it's been almost a week now that I've been without prednisone and boy is my body starting to feel it. Yes, the good old mail in pharmacy that says they mailed my prescription last Saturday, WELL, it still hasn't arrived, go figure.

Every joint in my body is screaming at me. It doesn't help that the weather here fluctuates every other day. One day it's in the 80's the next day it's in the 40's! Augh, my body just doesn't know which direction to head.

Thank heavens for me husband, he's been so wonderful, he knows I have been suffering so he is doing everything he possibly can to help. He's done the laundry, the dishes, the grocery shopping, cooked and tried to keep the house quiet so I can rest. He's just to good to be true sometimes! Now if he just had control over Medco, I'd be set...lol!

Thanks for giving me an avenue to whine, I need it every now and then!

Hey Mel, Wow I just never pictured you being married and actually having someone that would put up with ya! LOL Just kidding. Does he have a brother? Cousin? At this point I'm not picky. tongue

Anyway, I'm sorry you didn't get your meds. Hopfully they will be here tomorrow. I hate that not knowing. I've had times that I have taken my xanax and broke them in half trying to get them to last until my meds came in. mad Maybe some ice/heating pads. alternating? But you're right the heck with the dishes and laundry. It's not like they can't wait. I hear ya about the weather. It sounds like you live in oklahoma. That's what it's doing here. Now we got a cold spell coming through about 20 for a high. and it was almost 70 two days ago. It's hard to get adjusted to that.

I'll be praying you get your pred. tomorrow. I still think you should call you doctor explain the situation and see if they will write a script for a couple of days. they shouldn't cost more than about 2 dollars. they are the cheapest drug I take.

let us know

love ya

Hi Melissa, I hope your pred comes in the mail tomorrow and that you get some quick relief. I know it's a pain waiting on mail order rx's! I agree with Carol, if they don't come try calling your doctor, that way you would have a back up rx at the local pharmacy, it is a very cheap med. I think 60 tabs cost me a little over $2

Take care
Stacie

Carol, Yes, believe it or not there is a man out there that will put up with me, he's even an Okie...LOL! He is quite a bit older than I and was born in Oklahoma City! He's probably going senial that's why he puts up with me...hehehehe! His mother raised him very well I must say, he did not get married the first time until he was 40, they were married 16 years, then he and I dated 4 yrs and have been married 12yrs now. He has no children of his own, and treats my children wonderfully. He truly is almost too good to be true, he is OCD about the house being clean and things of that nature. The kids and their friends used to joke about it because he would vacuum the house everyday, he would vacuum his way out every morning...LOL! After living with kids a few years he got out of that routine!

Stacie and Carol, I agree, if the med does not come in the mail tomorrow I am going to have my doc call in a prescription to my pharmacy. This way I will have some extras set aside in case this happens again as well.

Thanks for the support, you guys are great!
