I just began treatment with Rituxan 2 weeks ago. So far I've experienced pretty severe flu like symptoms after each infusion. Has anyone else taken Rituxan, and seen positive results with it? I know that its too early to tell if its helping or not, but i'm already frustrated with it. I've done chemo several times in the past, and i feel almost just as bad after the rituxan as I did with the chemo, which my doctor says 'is within the bounds of normalcy'. What is everyone elses experience with this drug?

Hi chirstain,

You might find more information if you type Rituxan into the search box near the top of the page and then click the "Search Site" box. Then you could see prior topics and resources.

Meanwhile, some of the other members who are taking can comment. When you say chemo . . . were you taking Methatrexate? or something else?

I hope it goes well for you.

Hi Christain,

Welcome to the forum! I'm not familiar with Rituxan either. We're headed into the weekend and it is usually slow here, but someone will be along to help you out.
