Hi all--
Things have not been going so well at Mayo and I probably will give them the boot. Frustrated, sad, facing a huge bill with still no firm diagnosis and my  health getting worse, family issues and more weighing down on me, I had run out to get my last refill of Ultram, the last pain meds I will likely get and facing greater immobility as a result. Anyway, I brought the prescription into the bathroom and turned to face myself in the mirror, and noticed a white sticker in my hair  I pulled it out and read it and had to laugh.

It said: "Shake well and keep refrigerated."

Maybe this is God's way of saying keep fighting and chill out, probably decent advice right now.

Hope you all are staying cool and shaking things up when you need to.

HA! Several years ago, before lupus when things were frantic at work, I got a bottle cap off a drink that says "Shake Well" -- I've kept it next to my desk since then to remind me to stop working/worrying when I start feeling "well shaken".

Really? See it is a real message from a higher power. Thats a great way to read it! I felt like shaking a few numbskull docs lately. I like your reading better.

I'm feeling better due to phs. therapy but now it is all down in the hip. The dumb pain doc got mad because I wanted an injection and can't afford to go to an inpatient torture pain mgmt camp they have. So because I'm poor, I hae to suffer. I will probably get hacked up around here again, it should help. I should have gone to Emory, just too far away. Mayo rheumie was a total idiot,
