Hey all (as I cough and hack while I type),

I am in a bit of disbelief.  I have Bronchitis, Laryngitis and a sinus infection. I haven't even had to deal with an itty bitty cold since my diagnosis 9 years ago.  I'm MAD!!!!!  Whoever gave this to me is a jerk.

Probably run down a little. But it's never caused this before. I was always known to my family and friends as Wonder Woman (in that regard anyway!)

Anyone else wonder if they've ever been over medicated to the point that their immune systems are too suppressed? I'm wondering about that because my Lupus is so dead quiet, yet I'm still on the same doses of my Imuran (100mg) and I'm on 7mg of Pred. I guess a visit to my rheumy would be a good idea.

Anyway, I'm going to go lay down and pout about how I feel. Thanks for letting me vent!

(((((Ginny)))))

Thinking of you and hope you are feeling better. If you have no aspirin problems, then a cup oh hot tea sounds like a good idea. Wish I could bring it to you!
Take care,
Fran

Guess I should run from you Ginny! I have a URI (Upper respitory infection) and Bronchitis. I'm on antiobiotics, nebulizer, inhaler, cough syrup, cough drops, throat drops, vitamin c for it. I also lost my voice with it. I think its from coughing so hard.

(((( Ginny ))))) my friend at work had the same thing last week....... I think she waited too long to go to the doc so a visit to your rheumy right away is a very good idea yeah

I pray you feel better soon! Take good care of yourself and have some hot tea. You are in my prayers.

This bug seems to be catching lots of folks this year.  Hope you feel better soon!  Hopefully you'll be good for another decade before it happens again!

Hi Ginny,

Sorry to hear you are under the weather! Perhaps you caught it from your friend at work? Maybe you where a bit more run down than usual and the bug took it's chance to creep in on you. Please get some rest and try and take it easy. I hope you are feeling better soon!

Hey Ginny! Sorry you are sick! I know it is no fun! Yes, I have often wandered about being too suppressed. I would definatly see your rheumy about that! Hope you are feeling better very quickly!

Hey thanks everyone! Yeah, I'll be making an appointment with my rheumy tomorrow.  I hope the wait isn't too long. (I know it will be.)

There are two places I might have caught this.  At the wedding I photographed at the end of February, or at the eye doctor at the end of February. It's all I can think of.  I don't work with anyone, and my hubby is well.  So he didn't bring anything home from his work.  Hard to say!

I had to stop taking the antibiotics my pcp prescribed.  I had an adverse reaction to them yesterday. Horrible stomach pain, indigestion, headache, lethargy, intense nausea for about 8 hours after I take it.  So last night was my last pill.  I'll be contacting my pcp tomorrow too, to tell him what happened.  I'm definitely almost back to normal. No coughing, my voice is back, and my sinus issues are almost gone.  Thank goodness.  Yeah, a lot of people are getting this bronchitis bug eh?  Weird.

I hope it's another decade of wellness too!

Have a good Sunday everyone!
