I do have mood swings!!! Are you on prednisone? Because, they really exacerbate the problem! I've been so weepy every evening because of steroids. I go from one extreme to the other!!! Sometimes the least little thing 'irks' me! Know exactly how you feel. Judy

Oh Yes....major mood swings. I actually am learning to laugh at myself when I get emotional for no reason! Today I was listening to a christian station on the radio and a dad came on saying how thankful he was for his son and why he was thankful and I started sobbing...you would have thought something horrible had happened. After words I couldnt stop laughing at myself!!! Gotta love the prednisone...

Me too. I don't take pred daily but even my hubby dreads when I just can't take it anymore and have to do the dose pack taper thing. I avoid it because there is so much stress as it is and the pred just makes it worse. Especially because the doc just uppped the dose and instead of the 4mg that tapers in a week, I'm on the 10 mg that tapers from 60mg in 12 days. But ya goota do what ya gotta do. If you're not on pred you could be over doing it and extremely tired and trying so hard not to let it catch up with you that you're mind is on overload. Eitherway, I hope you're feeling better soon, eat a nice big peice of chocolate and take a nice long nap. God Bless.

thanks for all the replies :)

i am not on prednisone (i take no meds other than lyrica for nerve pain) and it is probably just a sign of overload . . . i have been working alot of hours lately and it is probably just that i am tired beyond reason.

i was just curious if anyone else has these issues . . . i am so crabby some days i wonder how my husband and kids can stand to be near me!

looking forward to next weekend when i can nap properly!
