This guy is really  unbelievable! I've been in a tremendous amount of pain this weekend. Everytime I tell him I'm in pain, he keeps offering what it could be instead of telling me what it is. More than that, I have these useless anti-imflammatory pills and my pain is getting worse everyday. I have pain up and down my arms, my shoulders and my neck. He tells me to come in for a neck x-ray. Seriously..... The pain is getting worse everyday and I just can't understand why he isn't more helpful. Not to mention the knot in the back of my leg that has been there for two weeks... mad

I'm sorry you are in so much pain. Forgive me if this is a redundant question, have you been diagnosed with lupus? Judy

Hey Twinkiet, is there another rhuemy you might be able to go to? It sounds like yours isnt too concerned about your pain. Also, to leave you a diagnoses via VM...in my opinion that is crazy. What anti-inflamatories are you taking and for how long have you been taking them? Sometimes it takes what seems like ages for them to kick in and work. How long ago where you diagnosed?

Diagnosis like two months ago. Started on the predisone which seemed to work but soon as I stopped taking them, flare was worse than it was when I started. Then he gave me mobic, which a joke, Ive been taking that one for three weeks. They only way I was getting temporary relief was to take aleve with the MObic but dr said not to do that because I was oding.

I think the fact that he left a message on your cell regarding your diagnosis is a huge red flag. I hope you find a new, professional, compassionate rheumy asap! Judy

I'm with Judy you do need to see a new rhumy. How can he be so ignorant to your pain. Wish you well.
