Yep, Judy is right. It has to do with our platelets. Lupus will create a syndrome in some people called Thrombocytopenia. I have this. Along with Prednisone, you can bruise very easily.
A CBC will tell you if your platelets are too low. No, Lupus won't show up in a CBC. All a CBC will do is give a snapshot of how your general well-being is. A Lupus blood panel will help aid a doctor in a diagnosis.
