I just wanted to say thank you all for your cards and letters, flowers, prayers and phone calls. It's been one tough month and couldn't have gotten through without you. It will be a few days before I really get back and see how everyone is doing. Frankly I havn't even dealt with my father dying yet. When I was in the hospital it wasn't so bad because the hospital was kind of like not reality. Now that I'm home I have to except that he's gone and it isn't going to be easy. Considering he really wasn't that ill and only 77 years old. Anyway i need to get my head wrapped around this and not quiet sure how. I came home on 32 different pills and will need help geting that figured out. eyes
Well anyway I am stil very weak and shakey and but I am still alive so one day at a time is all any of us have. Well I need to go and get some more rest. I'll hopfully get back to some type of normal soon.
love and thank you

Hi Carol,

I'm SO glad you are home! And I'm SO glad you are doing better! You are an inspiration to all of us! You are such a tough lady, who can do anything if she just puts her mind to it! I know it's going to be hard to deal with your Dad's death, my thoughts and prayers are with you sister to give you the strength you need to get through this as you get back on your feet as well. But I know you can do it!

Hang in the Carol and take one day at a time! You're a special lady! We love you!

That's great news Carol!!! I hope that being home will lift your spirits and help you recover faster. Pet's are great medicine. I just got back from out of town and I can't tell you how happy it made me to see my dogs.

Let me know what your schedule is on Thursday so I can meet you at the hospital.

See you then.

Thanks everyone, I'm feeling better today. Lynnwood asked how I am feeling so I figured I was well enough to post it.

First my 4 month old kitten got pregnant and had 4 babies 2 days ago. My vet said she's to young to get pregnant! "where did she go to school"? This cat must have tracked down the ugliest tom she could find because these are some seriously ugly babies. I thought all babies were cute. Not these ones! She's all white with beautiful grey blue eyes. These guys and all black or grey tabbies. Not that I have a problem with that but they got stupid things like all black but I white nose and mouth? dumb. Someone hit them with an ugly stick! Plus I am not happy about repopulating the would with more animals. and it different have to  happen.

Ok then my mom told everyone she was going to surprise me and drive out to pick me up from the hospital. She knew I would be mad. She got to new mexico and rear ended a semi! Totaled her car and thank God she walked away from it. I am still mad. I can't lose my mom right now. Wouldn't that have been quite the surprise? yeah carol your mom wanted to surprise ya but she wrecked her car and killed herself on the way here! I told her next time fly and rent a car. She said she likes to drive. I said yeah it worked out well this time didn't it! Ok so as far as dealing with my pop's well I'm in the anger stage for that. Every time I think about it I want to throw somthing. So I push it aside alot. I'll deal with it one day.

Ok for my health. I'm doing ok. I have an appt. with the transplant dr. on thrusday. (patty I'll call ya). The hardest thing right now is that the dr. took my steroids away. I can't be on steroids when I get a transplant. Now all of my joints hurt. I noticed I run mild fevers too. So I really don't know what will happen with that. They kept me on the plaquanil so that ishelping some.

OK well I'm hurting and need to lay down. I'll check out the site this afternoon and get caught up a little with what you all are up to.

thanks guys love ya all!

Carol, I'm so glad you are home. I have been AWOL dealing with some tests and things out of town, but am so glad. Ugly kittens, eh? My cat is a grey and black tabby, but really kind of weird and slow. Can you say inbred? I love her though and she is getnig better. Four months is way too young, what a surprise. Ihope she didn't have em on your bed or something like that. Well, maybe they are little ugly ducklings. You may find homes for them, I just hope they do well and that the mom can deal with them. Talk bout teen pregnancy.

I'm glad you are back on track on the main goal with the transplant docs. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as always. I'm having some troubles with faith right now, just feel mad at the world, well the medical community, and just plain sick of docs, etc. as I'm sure you are. Well, stay strong and know I'm praying for you.
Love, Marji
