I haven't posted in a while because life overwhelmed me. I will update you on how everything is going.

1. We are still fighting to get Alexander back, he is being tested for osteogenesis imperfecta to see if that is why his ribs broke. Our lawyers think it is just a matter of time since we didn't hurt him, there will be a court hearing in June.
2. My husband has to start methotrexate and definately has RA
3. I am flaring
4. School isn't going well
5. I am seeing a psychiatrist due to stress
6. My aunt is dying and they gave her 3 weeks- lung cancer
7. I need help dealing with the heat and electric bills because they are so high from this past winter

As you can see my stress levels are through the roof. I just want something to give and looks like that will be school since I can still drop 1 class. I have the summer off unless they get me funding before Tuesday to cover the only class I need being offered. I think the summer off is a great idea. I wish I could offer more but truthfully I am overwhelmed and so tired.

Wow, I'm surprised they didnt give back custody yet. With both of you having autoimmunde defencies, it would not surprise me if the lil one has one to. As for the needing help with the electricity and heating, I know in my state they offer energy assistance once you get a shut off notice. I also know they sometimes make payment arrangements. As for stress, you have a family here you can talk to about all that is going on hon. We will all listen and support you with our love and prayers.

Hey Red, i can not believe you haven't been given custody back either. It is so frusterating to me because Kids that are actually abused, a lot of times don't get get the help they need (I was one of those kids) and then kids that are in a loving home get taken away. I just don't understand it. So are they saying it could be June till you get custody back?
How is your husband doing on methotrexate? Has it helped his RA yet? about the heat...if you are a member of a church, sometimes they will help you with that kind of need! It would def not hurt to ask, which i know is the hardest thing to do! I wish I had some more advice for you but I dont! I will def keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Hope your flare lets up soon

Hugs

((((((( Redrose ))))))) I am so sorry to hear of all the stress in your life, no wonder you are overwhelmed. I agree, taking the summer off sounds like a great idea. I pray you get Alexander back soon. You and your family including your aunt will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you everyone. As to Alexander coming home we are hoping for June but no one really knows and CPS says NEVER because they refuse to believe we didn't hurt him. (Hubby hasn't started mtx yet because he has to use medco and it hasn't arrived yet.) I just want to scream. I cannot understand how they can do this to us without any checks or balances. My research indicates that 90% of the kids taken should never have been taken and yet only 1 in 5 ever makes it home again. Our lawyers are confident that Alexander will be one of those who does go home. I do not understand how they can get away with this. Who gave them this much power? Who decided that due process could be thrown out the window and abuse be made a civil matter where the same rights do not apply? Who decided that ONE PERSON should be allowed to judge without facts? Because that is exactly what has happened 1 woman decided we abused Alexander without ever even seeing him. Anyone who spends 10 minutes with him realizes we don't abuse him, he is fearless and so open to making friends I worry he will go off with strangers. Abused babies do not trust and Alexander trusts completely that no one will hurt him. He doesn't act like a baby but a young child. He is developmentally ahead of his age and abused children are usually behind. With our medical histories they should have believed me and tested him when I first requested testing for osteogenesis imperfecta but instead the judge had to order it be done. Heck the CPS worker stood there and argued with her that there was no need to test for it when he has blue tinging the whites of his eyes and a triangular shape to his head both of which are THE major signs of the disease.

I am sorry, I am just so darned frustrated and angry how can they get away with this? This state placed a child whose mother applied for help with rent money one month into a foster home and terminated her rights for no good reason then they let another couple adopt him. They continued to take this woman's children as they were born and place them with the same couple. Then the couple who adopted these children murdered the first boy because he missed his mother and kept asking to go home to mommy. I am supposed to trust in a system that did this? I am supposed to believe that they only do this for the best when it has been proven they get 2-4 thousand dollars a month for every child in foster care and 10 thousand for ever child adopted by strangers. Yep, they profit off taking away people's kids and terminating their rights.

They have tried everything they can think of to avoid putting my son into a home where he has family. I think we finally have forced their hand so he will be put with his sisters. Once that happens it means that profit wise they are better off sending him home eventually. If the test comes back positive then there is an excellent chance that the judge will order he come home immediately since she was pissed at the CPS worker last time because she had a case in the past with osteogenesis imperfecta causing false accusations of abuse. I really hate to say I hope the test is positive but if he has to have something wrong with him then let them find it fast.

Oh, I just learned that someone in my group for a project for one of my classes plagerized our professor word for word. So now I have to drop the course. Go figure. I have no idea why she would be so stupid but this classmate is on my drop kick if I ever see them list. I really need an ax or hammer to wack her in the head with.

Honestly, you must know that everything you write on the internet can be found and viewed somehow, some way.

If I were you I wouldn't be talking about wacking someone with a hammer or ax. I don't know you so I am just throwing out a suggestion based on what I read...
