Carol,

We were watching the weather last night and saw that Pond Creek was right in the middle of everything. Did you have any damage? Must have been frightening. We were spared but it looks like a storm might be coming through today. I love the rain, but those tornadoes can stay the heck away.

Let me know everything is ok up your way.

Hi Pat, Oh man it was bad. We're still trying to dig out. There were 5 alarms and 9 tornado's. I saved some gulf ball hail stones. Dougs car got beat up. It was mostly rain that we are dealing with. It flooded the basement and a couple of the rooms here. There was just no where else for it to go. The kids section of the church got flooded. Most structural damage is in enid. Which is where I have to go tomorrow so I hope they have the roads open. Well I havn't gotten much sleep. It seems those things always happen over night. Everyone was walking around like zombies today lol.
I hope you are hanging in there tonight
thanks for checking on me
love ya

Wow, I forgot about that big hail. Here it was like 90 degrees or higher and I got so sunburnt just out a few minutes. Usually the tornados spiral around here from out west, going out t the ocean orthe gulf. I'm glad you are okay and that there was not too much damage.

Carol,

That's too bad about all the damage! I'm happy that you're ok. Did last night's storm cause any more damage or flooding? It wasn't bad here - just lots of thunder and rain. My garden looks pretty happy today. We're so lucky because tornadoes and the worst thunderstorms seem to go either the Midwest City route which is south of us, or up around North Edmond, which is north, and where we used to live. We've been lucky to have dodged it all but we always stay pretty alert.

I hope Doug has good insurance on his car and the church.

I am sorry to hear of the damage. I live in fear of tornadoes, living in the midwest is not cool when storms hit. Hope you are able to get where you need to go.
